Spring has arrived on Squam Lake, and Squam Fest is just a little over a week away. Cottage Place on Squam Lake will soon welcome guests for a weekend designed to celebrate the season through local makers, thoughtful experiences, and community.


Taking place May 2 and 3, Squam Fest: Spring Solstice brings together a curated collection of vendors offering vintage finds, handmade goods, artwork, clothing, jewelry, home décor, baked treats, and locally crafted products. It is a setting where guests can explore, shop, and enjoy the natural beauty of Holderness, New Hampshire.


Live performances will take place throughout the weekend, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere across the property.


Saturday, May 2:

Guests can enjoy a variety of food trucks offering both sweet and savory options, along with a seasonal menu from Free Spirits Mobile Bar. Offerings include Dolce al Limone, Blueberry Coconut Margaritas, Chocolate Espresso Martinis, and Orange Dreamsicle cocktails, along with a fully garnished Bloody Mary. Spirit free mocktails, wine, and beer are also available, with both cash and card accepted.


Experiences throughout the weekend include a dried flower bar and flower crown building, as well as fairy house building for younger guests. With Mother’s Day approaching, the event offers an ideal opportunity to find thoughtful gifts from more than 45 local artisans, including baked goods, jewelry, artwork, upcycled pieces, clothing, and psychic readings.


Squam Fest is supported by Meredith Village Savings Bank, NH Broadband, Dead River Company, and Amoskeag Beverages, whose commitment to community helps bring this event to life.

The event is rain or shine and welcomes guests of all ages, including families and dogs.

Tickets are five dollars for the full weekend, and children 12 and under attend free. Guests who purchase tickets online will be entered to win a gift basket featuring local goods.
